Relax With a Cigar

There’s no better way to relax than by enjoying a premium cigar. It’s a pleasure enjoyed by millions of people worldwide, often as part of social activities or to help celebrate life’s special events. It is also considered to be a status symbol in certain circles, representing class and elegance.

A cigar is made from dried and fermented tobacco leaves that are then wrapped once again to create a cylinder with an end cap. It’s a complex creation that requires time, patience and skill to master. Cigars are produced in significant quantities primarily in Central America and the Caribbean Islands, including Cuba.

When smoking a cigar, it’s important to take the time to appreciate its aroma and flavor. It’s also recommended that you enjoy your cigar in a comfortable setting that allows you to relax and reflect on your thoughts.

Unlike cigarettes, which are chemically treated for flavor and color, premium handmade cigars are made from one ingredient: tobacco. They’re crafted by skilled artisans who take pride in their work, and the result is a cigar that is smooth and rich in flavor.

It’s been said that 200 pairs of hands touch a cigar before it makes its way to your humidor. While that number may be exaggerated, it’s still a good reminder that cigar manufacturing is a massive undertaking. From arranging tobacco in enormous piles (pilones) for fermentation, to aging, to banding and boxing, the process is an incredible testament to human skill.
