The Health Benefits of Smoking Cigars

Cigars have been around for thousands of years. They started to be popular after the Europeans discovered the lands of Central America. Some of the earliest depictions of cigars include the ancient Maya, who smoked tobacco leaves wrapped in palm leaves.

Smoking cigarettes has been found to be hazardous to health. It can cause mouth cancer and emphysema. However, cigars are considered to be a more socially acceptable form of smoking.

In the United States, cigar use increased dramatically during the 1990s and 2000s. The rise was attributed to the trend of a more trendy lifestyle, and not a health risk.

During that time, major US print media began to promote cigars favorably. Tobacco companies also used social media to advertise their products.

However, there are still many health concerns associated with the use of cigars. One study found that smokers are at greater risk of developing emphysema. Another found that the use of cigars increased the risk of coronary heart disease by 30 percent.

While the FDA deeming rule delays the implementation of the rules, flavored cigars continue to be sold in the market. There is no specific timetable for the FDA to make a final ruling on the rule.

As a result, the Center for Tobacco Studies at Rutgers University and the American Lung Association conducted extensive research on the health effects of cigars. This led to the publication of a report on premium cigars.

While the use of cigars is not subject to the same regulations as cigarette use, cigar manufacturers do a lot to make sure they produce a consistent product. For example, 200 pairs of hands touch a cigar before it reaches the humidor.
