What is the story behind Allegiance?

From the very beginning of E.P. Carrillo, we understood the importance of working with like-minded tobacco producers from across the globe. The success we have experienced since conception is due to aligning ourselves with the top farmers and producers on the planet.

Allegiance is the second cigar of the E.P. Carrillo line to be produced outside of Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. We have partnered with Oliva Cigars, a well trusted legacy cigar company located in Nicaragua, known for great blends and consistent performance. Allegiance is the fourth cigar of the premium Perez-Carrillo line alongside Pledge, Encore, & La Historia. We have high hopes for this cigar and seek to achieve high ratings and national recognition for an exceptional blend that speaks for itself.

Allegiance is about spending valuable time with those people closest to you. “Join the Allegiance”

The cigar industry has been shifting from individual manufacturing pillars to joint partnerships and collaborations. The E.P. Carrillo advantage is found in the quality of partnerships we have forged over 4 generations of cigar manufacturing. With the numerous successes we have achieved in the Perez-Carrillo series, we felt it was only fitting to expand on a long-term partnership with the Oliva Cigars brand. This partnership has unlocked new tobaccos and standard-setting production quality, giving our brand the space to grow into new experiences for our international consumers and retailers alike.

The Health Effects of Cigars

Usually compared to cigarettes, cigars are larger, with larger amounts of tobacco. These tobacco-covered leaf products are often given as gifts, or smoked on special occasions. The use of cigars has long been viewed as a classier, more upscale activity.

The cigar industry began to mechanize rapidly in the years between 1910 and 1929. The number of cigar factories fell from 23,000 to 6,000.

Cigars are a popular and affordable luxury for special occasions, such as weddings and other celebrations. However, they are also known for their adverse health effects.

The Center for Tobacco Studies at Rutgers University conducted extensive research on the health effects of cigars. Their study was part of a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine committee commissioned by the Food and Drug Administration.

The study found that daily cigar smokers had a significantly elevated risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancer. They also found that cigar smokers had increased all-cause mortality. However, the study did not find an increased risk of heart disease or stroke.

Cigars are also a source of nicotine, which is considered a highly addictive substance. Cigars are made from different blends of tobacco. A typical cigarette has about eight milligrams of nicotine.

In addition to a high level of nicotine, cigars also contain harmful chemicals. These chemicals are produced during the fermentation process, when the plant is harvested. In addition to tobacco, they are also filled with additives such as flavoring agents and tasteless gum to stick the wrapper together.
